Thomas J. Bull
Engineer
Thomas J. Bull provides engineering support for fire suppression system design for various types of commercial
and residential structures, including educational facilities, as well as fire alarm and code issues.
Tom has a BS in Engineering, and a BA in Economics from UMass Amherst. He received his Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and also worked at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Tom's
Fire Protection responsibilities include assisting the Senior Fire Protection Engineer in the Systems Engineering Group with the evaluation of campus fire detection and suppression systems and recommending improvements. Duties also include assisting with the review of system upgrades and monitoring of
system contractor installations.
Tom is also a Profesional Fire Fighter for the
City of Worcester Fire Department Worcester, Massachusetts and responds to and works to stabilize emergency situations such as hazardous materials spills, rescues, medical emergencies, and fires.
